The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has taken a major step by signing an agreement with NAVTTC (National Vocational & Technical Training Commission) to start skill training for deserving families in Pakistan. This program, known as the Benazir Hunarmand Programme (BHP), aims to teach skills that can help people get jobs and become self-reliant.
The Benazir Hunarmand Program is a new project started by BISP to help its registered beneficiaries and their family members. The goal is to teach them useful, market-demanded skills for employment in Pakistan and abroad.
After the launch of the Benazir Hunarmand Portal on June 21, 2025, by President Asif Ali Zardari, BISP has now partnered with NAVTTC to provide training directly to eligible people.
