Famous Pakistani TikToker Kashif Zameer has publicly apologized after being arrested in Lahore by the Crime Control Department (CCD). He was taken into custody for promoting gun culture through his viral videos on social media.
The arrest happened after a video showed Kashif Zameer riding in a pickup truck, also known as a “dala”, surrounded by 13 private guards holding guns. The video caused panic among the public and quickly went viral online.
While in custody, Zameer recorded a video statement admitting his mistake. He said, “A few days ago, my video went viral where I stupidly showcased a pickup truck and weapons, which created fear among people. I sincerely apologise and promise not to promote dala or gun culture again.”
The CCD launched a fast operation in Iqbal Town, Lahore, and arrested Zameer along with his guards. Several weapons were recovered, and legal action was taken under laws that ban public display of firearms and spreading fear among people.

This is not the first time Kashif Zameer has landed in trouble. In April 2025, he was arrested for mocking the police uniform at a wedding event. He handed a tray of cash to a police officer and later tried to edit the video using artificial intelligence (AI) to make it look real. He was charged under the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) for digital manipulation and impersonation.
Zameer is well known for his luxury lifestyle, viral pranks, and controversial actions on TikTok. In the past, he has faced multiple cases of fraud, misuse of public symbols, and impersonation.
His latest apology shows that he may be rethinking his online behavior, but many believe it’s too early to say if he has truly changed. Whether this incident becomes a turning point or just another headline, only time will tell.
