CM Maryam Nawaz Breaks Record: Over 50,000 Homes Built Under 'Apni Chhat Apna Ghar' Scheme

The Punjab government has achieved a historic milestone under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Her housing project “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” (Your Roof, Your Home) is moving fast towards success and changing lives across the province.

In just a few months, more than 50,000 houses have been completed under this scheme. This is the first time in Punjab’s history that such a large number of homes have been built in such a short time. It has set a new record in public housing in Pakistan.

So far, over 51,911 loans have been approved and issued without any political recommendation. These loans have helped thousands of people build their own homes. The government has released around Rs. 57.90 billion in loans under this project, showing full commitment to helping low-income families.

The aim of Apni Chhat Apna Ghar is to make life easy for the common people. It provides simple and interest-free financial support so families can have a roof over their heads. More than 5,293 houses have already been completed and handed over to the owners.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has promised that this is just the beginning. The government plans to break its own record by building even more homes in the coming months. This project is a reflection of the vision of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who always believed in serving the people.
